Putting Dreamland on the media map
We run the consumer and corporate PR for Dreamland in Margate, one of the UK's best-loved vintage amusement parks. Our work also involves the promotion of Margate as an up and coming cultural and music destination.
The PR programme includes highly proactive online influencer and media campaigns that put Dreamland and Margate on the map. High profile influencers such as Zoella, Mark Ferris and Ali Gordon have all come to Dreamland.
We stage a wide range of stunts for Dreamland – recently we organised a visit to the park by Royal look-a-likes, generating widespread national media coverage in The Mail, The Mirror, OK! and HELLO! magazines as well as broadcast coverage.
Over the summer we re-launched the park with nine new rides and generated 13 top influencer visits and 62 pieces of national coverage including Mail Online, The Sun, BBC and the Independent.
October saw us promoting Screamland, when Dreamland turns into one of the UK's best Halloween themed 'scareparks'. We organised 40 media visits with top tier bloggers and vloggers, trade press and celebrities, secured 86 pieces of coverage across national and broadcast media and reached 394,000 followers across Instagram.
We also worked with local blogger Maria Nichol to create a special makeup look and tutorial video for Halloween, which generated 12,839 views.
