The CutPlatform Ready: Silkin Levels Up
Having previously created the lovable Silkin the Snowman character, who came to attention in a retro game-themed Christmas animation, the gauntlet was thrown down as to how we could follow that. The idea of turning a pastiche of a game into an actual playable game seemed a stretch… but we don't give up that easily! The first follow up was exactly that, a classic platformer game where Silkin had to collect a series of goodies with which to decorate their tree, whilst avoiding the nasty brussels sprouts. This was so well received that expectations were high for the following year, where we continued that retro theme with a familiar maze-style game. Reception was fantastic again, and it leaves us with the next challenge of where to take Silkin next!
